"Dinner for David" is a cookbook lovingly put together by one of our staff for her son to be used in conjunction with The Spectrum Balance Protocol Diet; a diet created by Dr. Shauna Young for curing the Menefe Syndrome, a form of autism. It is a collection of recipes created by moms for their children. The recipes in this cookbook are easy and delicious and extremely healthy. All the recipes are gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, and many are also casein-free. The recipes use whole foods so lots and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables with very little, if any, processed foods.

The book has 31 pages and over 150 recipes, including recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert, as well as condiments. Here's a sample recipe: Pumpkin Cheesecake Minis · 1 can pumpkin (no other ingredients on the label) · 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened · ¾ cup honey · ½ tsp. grated fresh ginger (do not use ground ginger spice) · 2 eggs · butter (to grease the muffin tins) · 1 T. sea salt (or to taste) Directions: Grease medium-sized muffin pans with butter. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, and eggs until smooth, then add honey and salt and finally fold in pumpkin. Spoon mixture into greased muffin pans and bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, until just set. Let chill before removing from pan and then chill in refrigerator for one hour.
